I am a Restless Soul

I am a restless Soul

Always knowing that there is something more.

Even now that I have this deep sense of safety, connectedness and wholeness within my being, I am still that restless Soul. It is the dissatisfaction, the easily being bored, that time after time makes me look for something else to satisfy my infinite desire for more.

It is a rumbling force deep within my stomach, a clear knowing that there is more for me to explore, to experience and to achieve.

It is me remembering my Soul’s desires, dreams, wishes.

She came here with big ambitions and big passion.

I would dare to say that the restlessness aligns with my passion for life.

I am a restless Soul, in love with contrast.

You truly get to know life if you allow yourself to experience contrasts.

You are together with a controlling person. You are single and free again.

You explore drugs. You explore being sober.

You explore sex. You explore celibacy.

You are living in a populated country. You live in a sparsely populated country.

You live in a city. You live in the middle of nowhere.

You explore alcohol. You explore psychedelics.

You experience being lost. You experience being found.

You experience being caged. You experience being free.

You settle down. You travel around.

You are suffering. You are healed.

You don’t speak your truth. You do speak your truth.

You spend time with people. You spend time alone.

There is always a satisfaction…and then no satisfaction… Then the search for satisfaction starts again. This way, you are always moving and creating. You change with the seasons.

Freedom is allowing yourself to change when you know it’s time for the change.

True wisdom comes from experiencing and changing. Again and again. You can not truly become wise when you live the same life over and over again. It is impossible.

What are you going to say?

You might have learned from a book. But you haven’t truly learned.

Because the way we learn, is through experience. Through feeling.

There is also another option: you do and do and do, but you never learn. You mindlessly experience infinite things but never meditate on the experience.

Maybe you are stuck then, when the experience doesn’t lead to change.

Your restless Soul is your gift. If you use it wisely, it can bring you great growth.
